This magnificent contemporary chalet is the result of a collaborative effort between interior designer Rémi Giffon, project manager Benjamin Mauris, and the owner, a mountain enthusiast. For these three, the chalet had to be authentic yet embody a young, family-friendly spirit. The traditional mountain codes are prominently featured through the use of noble materials such as wood, stone, and glass. The style is modern with clean lines, and one particular detail sets it apart: a single type of wood, a steamed Jura oak with walnut-like hues, graces the floors, walls, and ceiling, adding a touch of elegance throughout.

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a hall that leads to the chalet's cozy and very chic ski room. The stairs take you to the infinity pool, which is undoubtedly one of the chalet's most spectacular features. With its generous dimensions (over eleven meters in length), it’s perfect for large families. The backlit photo of the Vanoise massif reflecting in the pool’s water creates the illusion of bathing beneath the Grande Casse.

The uniqueness of this chalet lies in its intentional framing of breathtaking landscapes: in the three living areas arranged around the central fireplace, the immense horizontal bay window offers chalet guests stunning views of the Grand Bec, Mont Jovet, Dent du Villard, and the valley. The metal staircase leading to the chalet’s bedrooms runs alongside a vertical glass wall over 9 meters high, allowing natural light to flood the different floors.

The choice of furniture and materials was a crucial aspect in the creation of this prestigious chalet. The natural fabric "drap de Bonneval," renowned from the Arpin textile mill, adorns every room, reinforcing the authentic and inviting spirit of the Velvet chalet.
